You woke up this morning because you heard Eddie's and Daddy's voices. Your smile was so huge and so immediate! So sweet./ At church today the woman sitting next to us tickled your foot a few times. After that you kept pushing your foot against her leg so she'd do it again./ You tried pieces of cereal for the first time (apple jacks). We were at church and you really, really wanted them. You loved them.

You love grabbing our noses!/ When you run out of food on your tray, you say "heh". If I don't respond immediately, you say it louder, with a more open mouth, and a really red face. When you did this today, you had both your hands up. You looked like a monster!/ You started taking your amoxicillian really well all of a sudden.

You were standing holding on to your little toy table. When you started to fall, you were able to catch yourself. When you fell on your knees, you were able to stand again./ You love pulling straws out of our drinks./ You love pulling our accordion doors closed-I don't let you because I'm worried you'll pinch your finger./ You love pulling food off the pantry shelves that you can reach./ You try to get magnets off the fridge and get mad.

You love eating little pieces of chicken./ When I lay on the floor, you just come up to me giggling-so ready to play and laugh./ You liked me playing motorcycle with you./ Your nine month dr appt-your head size is in the 70th percentile, height in 40th percentile, and weight in 20th./ Thankfully I understand now that you LOVE eating table food. The dr said it's fine you don't want to eat baby food from the jars. You eat a lot and well when just eating table food. I'm happy!

When I got back from the dr and picked you up, you just looked into my eyes for a minute. So sweet!/ Your schedule now is you wake up between 7 and 8 a.m. You nap at 10 a.m. I usually fall asleep while trying to get you to. At 10:30, I'll try to lay you down. You wake up. I leave you in bed. You'll cry for a minute. Then you'll just lay there for 10 min before you cry again, and I come get you. If we ever go in the car, you fall asleep. You nap at 4 again. I'll lay you down (seems the quicker I lay you down, the more likely you'll stay asleep) and you'll sleep til 5 or 5:20. You go to bed at 7:30.

In the night, when I was taking you from your bed to ours, you opened and closed your fist. This morning first thing you did was open and close your fist. When Dad waved at you, you opened and closed your fist./ You were really content at mealtimes today feeding yourself tiny pieces of food-waffle at breakfast and mac and cheese at lunch./ I've been closing all the doors of rooms we're not in, blocking the kitchen with a chair, and really scouring the floor for any dangerous little pieces. You haven't choked while on the floor today!

Happy nine months old!/ You wave now when we do; you even waved at Dad while in the car when he was waving at you through the window./ You always cuddle up against me at random intervals when I'm holding you (more like a shy response, seemingly). But you hit into me hard every time./ You were able to take a dvd out of its open case./ You opened and closed your fist today and seemed fascinated by it./ I was leaning ever to get something, which made you be kinda upside down(I was holding you). You laughed and laughed.
